The application of psychoanalytic ideas to a wide variety of topics in psychiatry, society, and popular culture are the main focus of the articles on this website. Psychoanalytic ideas are essential in conducting psychotherapy and psychoanalysis, but they are also useful, and underutilized, in understanding all sorts of social and cultural phenomena. I have written these articles with the educated layperson, as well as colleagues, in mind. This website provides a "location" to facilitate access to these articles and the ideas discussed in them.
